Creamfields returns to Daresbury in Cheshire from 26 to 29 August 2027 for its 30th anniversary edition. The first headliner was confirmed on 10 September 2026: The Prodigy top the bill on the APEX, one of the largest indoor festival stages in the world, on the Saturday night of 28 August. It is the band's first Creamfields appearance in fourteen years, after their 2013 slot. Since then the festival has added names one by one on its official channels: Music On boss Marco Carola plays the Steel Yard on Saturday 28 August, and Dutch house DJ Franky Rizardo takes the APEX on Sunday 29 August. The rest of the line-up is still open.

Getting there
- By trainNearest stations: Runcorn, Warrington and Liverpool Lime Street
The nearest stations are Runcorn, Warrington Central, Warrington Bank Quay and Liverpool Lime Street, all on the main line, with shuttle buses running to the site from all of them except Runcorn; return shuttles start around 10pm. Warrington Borough Council names Warrington Central and Bank Quay as the stations festivalgoers arrive at and reminds passengers taking a taxi from either to check the meter is running. The organiser warns that trains through Warrington Bank Quay are busier than usual over the festival weekend and that queuing systems may be in place at the station.

- By carBy car: follow the festival signs, not the sat-nav
The site sits in the Cheshire countryside between Liverpool and Manchester and is reached from the motorway network; the organiser gives Chester as 24 minutes away and Birmingham as about an hour and a half, and asks drivers to follow the dedicated festival signs for the shortest run in. Sat-nav is explicitly discouraged because of the closures around the site — Warrington Borough Council shuts several of the lanes leading to the estate and imposes clearways and lowered speed limits on the A56 Chester Road. Car parking has to be booked as a separate pass.

Frequently asked questions
Has Creamfields always been held at Daresbury?
No. The first edition in 1998 was staged at Winchester in Hampshire as a one-day event run by the Liverpool nightclub Cream, with around 25,000 people. From 1999 to 2005 it moved to the old airfield in Liverpool, and since 2006 it has been held on the Daresbury Estate in Cheshire, which the organiser describes as sitting between Liverpool and Manchester in the Cheshire countryside. Ownership passed to Live Nation in 2012.

Should I expect road closures on the way in?
Yes, and they are extensive enough that the organiser advises against relying on sat-nav and asks drivers to follow the dedicated festival signs instead. Warrington Borough Council publishes the measures around the site: closures on Hatton Lane, Underbridge Lane, Warrington Road, Hobb Lane, Holly Hedge Lane, Old Chester Road and Park Lane as well as Daresbury Lane up to the boundary with Halton, clearways on several of the same roads, a no-U-turn order and reduced speed limits of 20 and 40 mph on the A56 Chester Road.

Which local authorities are involved, and where do residents complain?
Two councils border on the site. Daresbury itself lies in Cheshire within the borough of Halton, while the approach roads fall under Warrington Borough Council, which is why Warrington publishes the traffic orders and refers complaints about Halton-licensed taxis on to Halton Borough Council. For noise and other concerns during the festival, Creamfields operates a residents' hotline around the clock, and Warrington points local people to it rather than handling the complaints itself.
