Bizarre Festival 1987
The very first Bizarre Festival was staged over two days on 10 July 1987 at the Waldbühne in Berlin and 11 July 1987 at the Loreley open-air stage in St. Goarshausen. Curated around post-punk, goth and new wave, it launched what would become one of Germany's defining alternative festivals.
