Beyond the Valley 2027

Who might play?

Hesse

No dates, site or artists have been confirmed for Beyond The Valley 2027. The festival has run the New Year's window at Barunah Plains in western Victoria since 2022 and is expected to do so again. The most useful pointer for 2027 is the direction the 2026 edition took: alongside Black Eyed Peas and John Summit, the programme tilted much harder towards club music than in previous years, with Overmono, Anetha, SPFDJ, Funk Tribu, Job Jobse, Layton Giordani, Ewan McVicar and KI/KI all booked. Beyond The Valley also shares a large part of its bill with Rhythm and Vines in New Zealand and, to a lesser degree, with Spilt Milk, all three running inside the same three-week December window; an act confirmed for one of them is a meaningful signal for the others. Confidence Man 35%Played Beyond The Valley in 2024 and has been absent since, so the rotation window is open. The Australian group said in 2025 they were ready to get back into the studio after the 2024 album 3AM (LA LA LA); a fourth-album cycle would land squarely in the 2027 festival season. Ninajirachi 32%Her debut album I Love My Computer took triple j Album of the Year and three ARIAs, and she has since played Coachella 2026 and announced her biggest Australian headline tour. She appeared at Spilt Milk 2025 inside the same December circuit but has never played Beyond The Valley, and her 2010s-EDM lane fits the club direction the 2026 bill took. Chase & Status 32%On the 2024 bill and absent since, which opens the rotation. The duo have a co-headline Australia and New Zealand touring history with Luude, who played Rhythm and Vines 2026 in the same December window, and no hiatus or conflicting 2027 block has been announced. Skin On Skin 30%Australian club producer who played Spilt Milk 2025 in the same December circuit but has not appeared at Beyond The Valley. His hard-edged house sits directly in the lane the 2026 edition opened up with Funk Tribu, SPFDJ and Anetha, and his tour calendar shows continuing activity. RÜFÜS DU SOL 30%Played Beyond The Valley in 2023 and not since. The Australian trio are working the fifth album Inhale / Exhale and have signalled their biggest world tour to date without publishing 2027 dates, so a home-summer festival slot remains available. Sammy Virji 30%Played Rhythm and Vines 2024, the festival that shares the largest part of its bill with Beyond The Valley, and has not returned to either since. UK garage was one of the strands the 2026 Barunah Plains programme leaned into, and his listed dates run into 2027. Source: https://ra.co/dj/sammyvirji/tour-dates
G Flip 28%On the 2023 bill and absent for three editions. The Melbourne drummer and singer released the third album Dream Ride and toured Australia behind it, which keeps them inside the domestic festival rotation without having been used up by the 2025 or 2026 line-ups. Sub Focus 26%The album Contact keeps the campaign running through the 2027 season and drum and bass has a fixed place on this circuit. Rated only moderately because his declared 2027 priority is the Circular Sound shows in the United Kingdom, the biggest headline dates of his career. Peggy Gou 26%Played Beyond The Valley in 2023 and would fit the club turn the festival took in 2026. Held at a moderate figure because she was booked for AO Live in January 2026, so the Australian market has been served relatively recently.
