Balaton Sound was one of Europe's largest open-air electronic music festivals, held every July on the public beach of Zamárdi on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, Hungary. Founded in 2007 by the organisers of the Sziget Festival, it grew into a multi-day beach party drawing crowds of up to 172,000, with headliners spanning EDM, house and techno. Its 2024 edition proved to be the last after the town of Zamárdi declined to keep hosting the event.
